A free first-person viewer for Skyrim

Immersive First Person View is a free mod for Skyrim Special Edition (SSE). With its help, you will be able to see your character’s body when you’re playing in the first-person view. It doesn’t matter what character you’re playing because this mod works on Horses, Werewolves, and Vampire Lords

In addition to this, the Immersive First Person View mod for Skyrim even works in situations where the game often forces the players out of the first-person viewpoint. While the mod is similar to the Legendary Edition mod, this one adds more features suitable for SSE. Immersive First Person View is a basic Skyrim mod that works well with alternatives like JK’s SkyrimFlora Overhaul mod, and Cloaks of Skyrim.

How do I install Immersive First Person View?

Once you complete the Immersive First Person View download, you will be able to install it manually or use a mod manager to include it in the game. When it gets added, it will overwrite the default configuration so that you’re able to see characters in the first-person view. In case you want to make any changes, you can do so by opening the configuration file. Additionally, you can install this mod mid-game as it is only a DLL plugin

Does it have any drawbacks?

While Immersive First Person View lets you view your character in the first person while you’re playing the game, it does have its drawbacks. The Skyrim mod isn’t compatible with the alternate conversation camera and doesn’t always show shadows. Moreover, once you close the game, you will end up reopening it in the third-person view. Nevertheless, the developer is continually updating the mod to get rid of any known bugs and issues.

Should I download the Immersive First Person View mod?

If you don’t like playing Skyrim in third-person view, then download the Immersive First Person View mod. This mod lets you see your character in first person, and also works on characters that don’t normally offer a first-person view. It’s also designed for Skyrim Special Edition with all the subtle changes required to make the game more immersive.
